Night under the stars

Spending a night under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert is a magical and immersive experience. With no tents or barriers, you sleep on a comfortable mattress beneath a sky filled with thousands of stars. The silence of the desert, the softness of the sand, and the breathtaking view of the Milky Way create an unforgettable moment in perfect harmony with nature.

The stars

Sleeping under the stars in the Wadi Rum desert is a unique experience. To fully enjoy the starry sky, we recommend checking the moon phase: during a full moon, its light brightly illuminates the desert, while on moonless nights, the Milky Way is revealed in all its splendor. You will sleep in an alcove open to the sky, comfortably settled and surrounded by the silence of the desert. You can also spot shooting stars, making the night even more magical.

Open-Sky Bivouac

Spend the night in an alcove open to the sky, where we provide mattresses, pillows, and blankets for your comfort. In winter (from November to the end of March), it is recommended to wear warm clothing as temperatures can drop. There are no toilets, showers, or sanitary facilities—it's a full immersion in nature. The experience of sleeping under the stars, surrounded by the desert's silence, creates unforgettable memories, with the Milky Way within reach and the desert breeze as your only music.

Meals

We serve traditional meals cooked over an open fire, carefully prepared by our Bedouins. You’ll enjoy typical dishes such as Mansaf, Maglouba, Kabsa, and Saniyeh, made with rice, chicken, and vegetables, accompanied by fresh salads. All our ingredients are fresh and local. Water is provided in abundance, and we offer unlimited tea. If you have vegetarian preferences or food allergies, feel free to let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate your needs. We also provide breakfast, including hummus, labneh, halawa, cheese, eggs, bread, jam, fruits, rusks, mortadella, coffee, and tea. For all our nights under the stars, both dinner and breakfast are included.

The tents

The traditional communal tent, handmade from goat hair, is located not far from your beds. It’s where we light the fire, share our meals, and create memories together. It’s also the place where we drink the local beverage, tea, while exchanging stories about Bedouin culture, dancing, laughing, and singing. This warm space is a true meeting place, where bonds are formed around the warmth of the fire and Bedouin hospitality.

Wake up refreshed and invigorated, ready to explore more of Wadi Rum's wonders. Our Bedouin Camp provides the perfect base for your desert adventures, offering comfort, hospitality, and a genuine connection to the desert and its people.
